Welcome to the Poway Senior Center
Although the center remains closed to our seniors, we continue to provide assistance the best we can during the COVID pandemic. Please visit our activities and resources webpages to learn more about how the Poway Senior Center is continuing to reach out to our Poway senior community.
Another Successful Gift Distribution!
In late December, approximately 50 seniors received a holiday gift from the Poway Senior Center Board of Directors. A few of our board members drove around the city of Poway and delivered a gift bag of holiday goodies. A gracious donor provided puzzles. Some of our seniors received home made knitted hats. Almost every senior lady received a pretty necklace that was converted into a mask holder by our own Poway Unified's Mount Carmel High School Girl Scout troop. Once again, our directors got to briefly meet our community seniors at their doors while maintaining a healthy distance and donning a mask. We may be delivering to our seniors again in February...and Mrs. California All-Star United States 2021 will be helping us. Hubba. Hubba.
If you are interested in hearing from us, please fill out the form at the bottom of this page and indicate that you are a senior and would like a monthly call from a Poway Senior Center Board member. We would love to call you, chat a while and hear how you are doing!
